Rev. Dwayne Eason

 

Rev. Eason is a native of the Bay Area, growing up respectively in Berkeley as well as Oakland. He is currently the Pastor of Church of the Good Shepherd in Oakland, Ca. He served as an ordained associate minister at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield /Suisun under the Pastoral leadership of Dr. Claybon Lea, Jr. Rev. Eason served as the Interim Pastor at Berkeley Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist, escorting the members into the introit of a new era. He has held a variety of leadership positions within the Church, and has had the opportunity to preach all across the country. Rev. Eason has graduated with an earned Master’s of Divinity Degree with honors from the American Baptist Seminary of the West in May 2013. Upon completion of the Master’s degree he plans to pursue either a Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Exegesis and Preaching, or Organizational Development / Church Administration. Rev Eason is also a graduate with a Certificate in Ministry from the Leadership Institute at Allen Temple in Oakland, Ca. in May 2009. He has also studied at Patten University with a concentration on Pastoral and Biblical Studies. He is the proud husband Nicole and the father of 3 beautiful daughters (Danielle, Jordyn, DaLaan) and 1 son (DJ / Dwayne Jr.).
